Market & Trend Research

Google Trends Analysis

Based on Google Trends, cotton shirts have the highest demand, followed by silk shirts. I initially considered selling a silk-cotton blend, but after observing that silk fabric is very expensive, I opted for polyester instead. So, I chose a polycotton blend, with 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The good thing is that there are suppliers offering similar products in this niche, which makes me feel confident in my choice.

Competitor Analysis

In my competition analysis, I noticed that big brands don’t follow a set posting schedule. Some share abstract posts, while others post once a week, twice a week, or even five times a week. One brand boosts posts to reach more people, while another focuses more on ads. Most brands post at times when people are most active, like 12 AM, 5 AM, 7 PM, and 9 PM. Also, most of their posts are product showcases, highlighting their items.

The best decision is to focus on showcasing our products, especially since we’re a startup. Using hashtags will help us reach a specific audience. We also need to create a solid content plan to stay active and engage with our audience.

Content & Hashtag Strategy

Sample Content Plan

A content plan is a valuable tool for creating high-quality posts that align with your niche while ensuring consistency in the long run. By structuring content around key themes each week, you can effectively showcase your product’s strengths and engage your audience.

  • Week 1: Introduction & Fabric Quality – Highlight the unique features of your brand and fabric through close-up shots, product showcases, and stretch tests to build trust and awareness.
  • Week 2: Fit & Style – Help your audience find their perfect fit with size guides, styling tips, and interactive challenges that encourage engagement.
  • Week 3: Durability & Functionality – Demonstrate the long-lasting quality of your product with wrinkle resistance, breathability, and customer testimonials.
  • Week 4: Selling & Engagement Focus – Drive sales and community interaction with try-on hauls, behind-the-scenes content, and exclusive offers.
Top Hashtags in the Niche

For my hashtag research, I manually search on Facebook to identify hashtags that have the highest number of posts. This helps me find the most popular and relevant hashtags to use, increasing the chances of reaching a larger and more targeted audience.

Paid & Organic Growth Strategy

Analytics & Performance Tracking

Social Media Insights

Our Page Insights show that 86% of our reach and views come from non-followers, meaning more people outside our audience see our posts. However, most interactions come from our followers, showing they engage more with our content even though we only post organically.

Ads Campaign

My recent ad campaign achieved 493 engagements, 2,833 account reach, and 3,237 impressions, which represent how often the ad was displayed on users’ screens. This is an excellent outcome for building brand awareness, especially considering it only cost 100 pesos for three posts. Overall, the results demonstrate strong performance and value for the investment.

Top performing Organic Post

This post has great visibility, especially with non-followers, but low engagement and no link clicks suggest a stronger call-to-action is needed. Boosting the post and adding incentives could drive better results.

The post is performing well in terms of views, particularly among non-followers, which is great for brand awareness, but link clicks and interactions are still slow

This post is performing well organically, with 72% of views coming from non-followers and 28% from followers, indicating it’s effectively reaching and targeting the core audience.

Top performing Boosting Post

I boosted three posts to evaluate their performance, and the results were impressive. The posts reached thousands of accounts and generated significant views, demonstrating Facebook’s strong reliance on ads to enhance page visibility. Remarkably, this was achieved with a budget of only 100 pesos.
